Fall Is Here - [Deb]
Hi Everyone,
Thanks so much for dropping by our site. It's great to meet you!
Time marches on and much has happened over this past year. Big News Flash! Maranatha and Vince are married! We had a beautiful wedding July 9, 2011. What a happy day. For those of you who don't know, Maranatha is our daughter/keyboardist and Vince is our son-in-law/sound man. They are in their junior year at Crown College. Maranatha is majoring in piano performance and Vince, communications. They are very happy in their small married housing apartment.
Joanna our other daughter is a junior at Crown as well majoring in violin performance. They are all in the honors prgram and still driving 3 and 1/2 hours to come to band gigs. Bless their hearts!
I'm delighted to have my Dawn/whistles, flute, base guitar, right here in my neighborhood. She is busy homeschooling her 4 children including Noah who is in the band and plays about everything, including piano, drums accordion, djembi and bodhran.
I hope you all had a nice summer.
If you would like to book us for a concert, click the "booking and contact" tab in the upper right hand menu. We would be happy to come.
Have a great fall!
Lord Bless,

Spring has Sprung! - [Deb]
Hi Everyone,
Well it finally looks like spring is on the horizon and we are so thankful to the Lord for that! The msic majors have been hitting it hard at Crown College and are still in the honors program. "Way to go Maranatha, Joanna and Vince"! Their hard work is our enjoyment and blessing.
Wedding bells are in the air for Maranatha Johnson (keyboards) and Vince Elmhorst (new sound tech) They are getting married July 9, 2011 at Our Father's House in Chili WI. We are all so excited. They have been courting for a number of years and have figured out how "two can live as cheaply as one". We are not losing a daughter, we are gaining a wonderful son-in-law and soundman! He is even willing to wear the kilt!!! How is that for true love!
The rest of the band is keeping busy homeschooling and being homeschooled. Dawn is working hard to educate her brood and Noah is growing fast in his musical gift which is playing about any instrument he sets his hand to.
So, with all this excitement, we invite you to book our band and hang out with us and hopefully we will be "contagious"! We love the Lord and we love Scottish Fiddling. Makes for an interesting combination!
See you at the next concert!
Deb Johnson
