Hi veryone,

     Hope you are all doing well this wintery season.  Thanks for dropping by to see our site.

     MPK Christian Celtic band is certainly keeping busy!  Well...what do you expect?  Celtic band and all and St. Patrick's day around the corner.  Imagine that!  Take a look at our schedule and see if yo can make any of our shows.  We'd be happy to have you there!

      It's great to drag those kids home from college for our performances.  Vince, Maranatha and Joanna aare in their junior year now.  The girls are turning into quite the "La De Da" musicians and Vince has changed to a communication major which is great for his activities in the band.  He is our sound tech and advance man.  Vince and Maranatha were just married this past July and have already become "two peas in a pod"!  They even "color coordinated for the junior recital.  Joanna is all diligence in her pursuit of the violin and fiddle.  Anyone who listens to her beautiful strains at our concerts will agree.  She is becoming a proficient classical violinist, having just performed, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Mozart at her junior recital while simultaneously taking Scottish fiddle lessons on skype with the renown national champion Scottish fiddler, Melinda Crawford.

     The rest of the band "keeps the home fires burning" and gets the technical aspects of our performances in gear.  Dawn is still living "in the real world" homeschooling 4 children one of which is our own Noah on drums, accordion, djembi, piano, bodhran and whatever else he can manage to play.  We also have some new violinists on the horizon who will grow up into MPK.  After all, this is a family venture and sometimes extended family venture.  Mary is Vince's mom and she does all of our photography during the concerts.  Our son Jon is our webmaster and our daughter-in-law Carri also does photography for the band.

     Well, have to run off and do a show now.  Why don't you come with!
