Hi Everyone,
Happy Summer Vacation to you all! This is the time of the year when our college students can take a breath and regroup for the new task ahead. Maranatha and Joanna will be sophmores in college this next school term. I am so blessed to have them home because I can enjoy the beautiful strains of classcial violin one minute and some driving Scottish fiddling the next. Maranatha has been working on many classical tunes, one of which is Rachmaninoff's prelude in C-Sharp Minor. I played that song on guitar when I was a teenager and was judged by Mel Bay himself and received 3rd. place either in Illinois Music Association or American Guild of Music. (Can't remember which one). I always received first place in the Senior Divisions when I played jazz solos, but I wanted to try something challenging and different. Well, it was challenging!

We are almost done with our production of our new album "Almost Home." It will be released this September in time for our "Almost Home" CD release concert at the Chestnut Center in Marshfield September 18, 2010 7:30pm Tickets at the door.

Hi Everyone!
It's great to have you stop by. We've got a number of concerts scheduled for this summer, and more are pending. You can check our show schedule by clicking on the left hand menue. It's great to have the girls (Maranatha and Joanna) home from college and we are going to start work on our new CD project, "Almost Home".
We have scheduled a concert at The Chestnut Center For The Arts on September 18, 2010 titled MPK Christian Celtic Band "Almost Home" Concert. You will be able to purchase our new CD at that time.
We are excited! Every concert is a new adventure with lives to touch. We are grateful for the opportunity.
